Thanks to you and others for suggestions about where to find info on online
privacy issues.
I decided to just use a fairly simple statement that I wrote, which is at

Women-Connect-Asia uses the information you submit only for use on the site
and will not disseminate it or sell it to outside parties.
We occasionally use email addresses to contact site users for specific
purposes such as informing users about new features on the site. If you at
any point no longer wish to receive email communications from
Women-Connect-Asia, please inform us by emailing to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
in the subject line of the email state "Remove from Women-Connect-Asia
mailing list" and you will be removed. We promise.
