I have Submit Wolf. I don't remember what their ad hype is but the reality
is that there are different catagories: Search engines, regional search
engines, free-for-all links pages, etc. and maybe all put together they add
up to 1,100. Depending on the nature of your site and other options you
select it doesn't submit to all 1,100 anyway.
But as we all know, there are only about 10 search engines from which 90%
of all search engine traffic will come from. The rest is just xtra. So,
using a service or a piece of software is the only way to make submitting
to the rest of 1,090 sites worth the effort. IMHO
