Javilk,
You mention that one of the problems you have is kidney stones (which I get
approximately every five years). Have you tried Lithotripsy? I went thru it
about six months ago. The stone crumbled during the procedure and passed
(easily) within a day.
You also mentioned vitamin C in high doses. My first stone which occured
nearly 20 years ago apparantly was the result of consuming high doses of C to
ward off colds. My doctor said that the stone was composed of citric acid (or
something along those lines)
Anyway here's a little blurb of lithotripsy:
Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) was developed by Dornier Medical
Systems, Inc. Dornier produced the first lithotripter in a dog
laboratory outside Munich, Germany. The first patient and 200 subsequent
patients were actually treated in the dog laboratory. ESWL made its
way to the U.S. in March of 1984 and to Los Angeles by February of 1985.
The procedure employs sound waves to disintegrate kidney stones. Patients are
sealed into the lithotripter and lubricated with jelly (or water in
the bathtub-like machines) to prevent any air buffer. This way the jelly (or
water) couples the sound waves for more intense treatment.
My thoughts are with you,
Larry
