It's more than a snippet.  Beyond the 50 states are lots of  military post offices, territories, and of course 12 provinces that appear in the "STate" field.  You should be able to steal a complete set of the codes from one of my sites.   Join B. Trading Co. Mailing List   While you're there you'll also find a list of all the countries with names force-fit to the size of the zip code field.  It may be useful to you  as well.
