Ivan,
HOTMAIL/Microsoft have a members directory since they own HOTMAIL but
normally the lookup is for real name not the email alias. If that does not
work send a message, or open a new HOTMAIL account using the Email address
you trying to use and see if it has already been taken. The chances are
that the address is valid but, who uses HOTMAIL frequently?
Since, Microsoft take over I had many SPAM mail directed to my Hotmail
account, so I look at it about once a month. (Never use it for outgoing mail
only Advertiser's email requests so a lot a junk mail find a lonely grave!
