Thanks to those who have pointed out problems with the RealAudio file I
mentioned earlier.

I've narrowed the problem down a bit. It continues to work just fine on
my system, *if* I use the newest (G2) release of the Real player; but I
get the same errors as others have mentioned if I fire up my older version,
5.0.

The Real help site says this about the errors we're been getting:

    Error 14 (23) can also occur if older versions of Player files
    are still present on the system. If your Player is giving
    frequent Error 14 messages at many different sites, please use
    the clean install instructions linked below to confirm that only
    files from the current version are on the system.

The "clean install instructions" referenced above are nowhere to be seen;
one of the many times I've encountered frustrating lapses, broken links
and misinformation on Real's site. Have written them several posts in the
past pointing out various glitches on the site, but have never had the
courtesy of a reply... sigh.

Anyway, so it would seem that it's a Real player problem, not a problem
with my coding or my server... dunno. Frustrating.
