Larry,
I can't speak for OmniPagePro 8.0 but Cuneiform available for trial
from http://www.ocr.com is much better than OmniPagePro 7.0. Since
you can try both before you buy, you might want to compare. I use
Cuneiform to OCR camera ready dispay ads for converting to HTML. They
are wildly varaible to font, columns, reverse text etc. I save as
RTF and formating like font, size and italics are preserved.
