Great suggestion, Suzanne!

And don't forget, folks, it's not just kids who are in need during the
holidays. I'm in a local woman's organization, and every year we 13 women
buy and wrap presents for 120+ seniors living in a local nursing home --
this is one of those places where the folks with no relatives (or no money)
end up. None of the residents have any idea who the gifts come from --
we're just "Santa" to them. We give them little bottles of nice hand
lotion, tiny photo albums, warm socks -- whatever we can find that we think
they'll enjoy.

No matter how rich our country is, or how wealthy certain groups of
individuals get, there will always be those in the USA who can't afford
gifts or who have no one to get gifts for them. Those of us with jobs,
families who care, and enough energy to play DOOM should always be able to
find rom in our hearts and our checkbooks to help those less fortunate.

Just a little Christmas Karma,
