I created a private BBS, Discussion area for the WCA. It also has
two different chats in it, one javachat tourchat for Following Design
features of a web site together as a group, and a second java chat
room for straight discussions as well as a topic for scheduling
chats. This is a private forum so Registration is required (Free as
always). In your profile you can also save your picture for display
so if you have a gif or jpg of yourself get it ready to upload at the
time you register. Go to the Registration:New User on the menu
on the left and register. Select "WebConsultants Association" as
one of the Groups you want to join. Your userid and password will
be sent by e-mail. How public your profile and e-mail address are
depend on you, you have the options of hiding what you want. The
BBS also has e-mail sending of posts and replies, so it can
function as a nice adjunct to this list. It has a lot of nice features,
so check it out.
There is also a Stop Smoking forum there that I have run for over
three years and is a very popular place, so if that's one of your New
Years resolutions this year, check it out.
