Hello,

waring: 4th generation browser only and I have it only working with
Netscape for the time being. Most of what I have learned to do here
has come from here:

http://www.webreference.com/dhtml/column4/

they have a real neat example there.

I am writing a time-sheet entry form. A time-sheet page is written on-
the-fly when an employee logs-in . Job numbers are periodically
written to an external js page which is called by this time-sheet
page. This all works fine.

You choose a Job client ID and then you get a list of job numbers and
descriptions. This works fine. The problem is

1) I can't get the positioning to work as I want
2) I don't want to have to write an opening form at this point, YET I
can't seem to do it any other way.

I want the selection of job numbers and descriptions to be a part of
a larger form. Yet I cannot do that unless I just write the larger
form along with everything else in the javascript write function. It
seems as though the write is kill off everything that follows on the
page, YET that does not happen here:

Of course I have hacked through it all....

Does anyone have any clues.

The enduring goodness of the American military character over the past
two centuries does not automatically derive from our nation's
nutritional habits or from a good job benefits package. This character
must be developed and supported, or it will die.
