I suspect the stock-buying public is not sophisticated enough to know what
the term portal means. Rather, I imagine the typical person's attitude is,
"Yahoo is a name I've heard of, and my friend Susie got rich on AOL stock,
so now I'd better buy some Internet stock so I won't miss out on a chance
to get rich too."
