I think you forgot to mention the major problem that occurs when a write
fails.... Empty Files.......wiped out...and usually these are your crucial files
since they are the ones you update your data to, so all the stats, counters, email
lists,
and whatever else you keep get wiped out on a write...
One reason it's very important to have an ISP that does daily backups.
