Existing accounts can run into trouble with fine print of the issuing bank.
Reserve accounts for online transactions, charge-back limits, transaction
limitations, and other issues not normally encountered with on-site
transactions. Some merchant accounts actually don't like (and may restrict)
mail order and online activity.
I've found it does help to have somebody in your corner who understands the
larger picture of online transactions and can advise re potential pitfalls.
They don't pay me, but I have appreciated the help I got at
www.securetrans.net in this regard.
