Some SEs do index commented text. I'd go to a meta search (I think dogpile
is one) and try your name -- plus try the copyright phrase (yours and
theirs) and maybe some of the phrasing Joe used in his comment tag on the
slanderous/libelous page. Let us know what you come up with.
Also, go to deja news and search for your name and Joe's name. I think you
can even do Boolean stuff to say "if this name is within X characters of
this name" show the results. It may be you're being slandered in more than
just source code.
