An interesting observation in contrast to today when, in the United
Kingdom, there's a huge reluctance for us to join the rest of Euroland

participating in the European market. So the concept of a global market
may be too much to comprehend!
Perhaps I could correct you on one point. The reason that the sun never
set on the British Empire (so it has been said) is that God wouldn't
trust an Englishman in the dark!
