While at one point you could call and harass Mitchell about Network
Solutions, you can no longer do so. You will be directed by his office
to
the department of commerce where Becky Burr and Elliot Maxwell are the
ones
in charge of the NSI and ICANN tar babies.>>>

[me... and *their* numbers are???]

... since he filtered me out... <BFB>>>

["You talkin' to me?" ~~Taxi Driver]

Uhh, Mr. Gantt, what has this to do with your earlier post regarding the
national science foundation?  Nothing.

Still haven't clicked on my sig. line eh?
<grin>
<Hmmm <mumblin' tech?!? my eye>

[him]
I just did a little research at *MY* expense. The 202 306-1040 number
that
you advised list members to call answers as a bell atlantic mobil
number.
Now perhaps you are unaware that NSF moved from G street in DC to
arlington
virgina about 4 years ago.

[me]
Good I am pro bono <oh never mind> you still haven't checked
my sig. ;^P

This it is helpful to give folk on this list
the correct area code. which is 703. Now 306 *is* the first 3 digits of
the NSF's main number. 703 306 1040 gives you the Office of Integrative
Activities.

[me, thanks! Repeat:

<<1-703 306 1040>>]

[me: Focused attention getting NSF to give guidance to the unknowing
as better than no communication whatsoever, at *least* they have
a EE/Ph.D. w/ biz/corp. experience at the helm now. A definitely a
step in the right direction... TECHNICAL=EE! Hurrah!]

<snipped whining to save important bandwidth>

<snipped same reason as above>

>Sure it gets the ball rolling ;^P

>One number to disturb and get others
