correction.. the $150K figure is way off.. i was using the old rule of
thumb that 1 year == approximately pi * 1,000,000 seconds, and forgot to
scale back down to minutes. the actual cost of a half-cent per minute
difference would be 1/60th the figure quoted, but that's still between $2K
and $3K. still enough to make someone think twice when comparing
connection packages.
