A web page is no good unless someone else looks at it. That means
getting it indexed in the search engines. And that means... knowing what
words people are using when asking for your topic, and inspecting the web
logs to see how popular the pages are, and how people are getting to them.
I am willing to give each of your students a free limited time
subscription report on 6 keywords of their choice, expiring when they
leave your class. (What, 2 - 5 weeks x 5 - 10 students?) If we get a lot
of students, we can double them up on the queries, or instead of the top
500 queries using their keywords, give them the top 100 or 200 on their
keywords. But for now, we have processing capacity.
And I am willing to process and re-mail the web-logs for your
(single, class-wide) server if they happen to match my web server's
formats.
By the way, that offer applies to anyone on this list who is teaching
webmaster classes to a group of five to 50 people. (At least, while I
have the CPU power to spare...)
