Ack!

I am so sorry.... hmmm.... durned asp. I am using NN4.08 on a PC without a
problem. I turned off Java and Javascript and couldn't seem to reproduce the
error at all. I know that the site doesn't work if you have cookies
disabled, but it doesn't break. I am installing NN4.5 as I write this and
will let you know if I can break it then.

Thanks and I apologize,
J

take two - i decided to fill out the app and join - figure i can always
cancel later, right? get thru the l-o-n-g form ... click SUBMIT.

Get - for the second time in a week or so [both times on an ASP site] -- a
Strange Dialog Box -- instead of "submitting" -- the stupid thing is trying
to launch something.

-- message --

long pause -

-- message  --

  Netscape is unable to find the file
  \windows\temp\VVCO95BU.ASP

Try again.

not bloody likely.

Anyone here gander a guess at the problem [three guesses this is an ASP
feature] -- and don't tell me it's MY problem because Netscape isn't
configured "right" -- i clicked a Submit button, for goodness sake. You
know - GET and POST. Sheesh.

ok look at code -- now there's a java problem? I have java OFF - blocked by
firewall anyway:

function MemAgree () {
        document.ProfileForm.java.value = "ShowAgreement";
        document.ProfileForm.submit();

-- this didn't work either - i tried to view the "member agreement" and got
a blank browser page.

<form NAME="ProfileForm" METHOD="POST" ACTION="profile.asp"
LANGUAGE="JavaScript" onSubmit="if (!validateForm(document.ProfileForm))
                                { return false; }">

Sorry Jason ... what browser were You using? I've got NN 4.5, PC version
here.

Kathy
