I've been submitting templates without problems, so I guess that they still work
(in fact, my turnaround time has been much better, probably due to all the
confusion). I submitted a help request today with pretty much the same question.
Under the lefthand menu, it is clear how to make changes, and how to pay, but it
is not clear how to register a domain. Apparently, from experimentation, you
need to enter in a domain name at the search box. If it is available, you have
the choice of using the InterNIC as your ISP and 'reserving' your name, or using
your ISP and 'registering' your name. Confusing as mud yet?
Apparently they thought that they would 'help out' people by making a web-based
interface. Oh joy.
These people are definitely on my list.
