You have evidence that this is the result of something done

So Microsoft is to blame for the fact that you bought software
from another company and either it did the wrong things or
you used it incorrectly?
No, I don't expect to convince a rabid anti-Microsoft fanatic
that his cherished prejudices are leading him to unwarranted
conclusions. I just want to be sure that others on the list
view your opinions in the proper light.
