Using the Postfix-Cyrus-Web-cyradm-HOWTO Iâve setup a mail server for multiple virtual domains. I am confused with the setting up of aliases.
As an example letâs say I setup an account [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and added an alias as [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
I then added the destination addresses of [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
The result was that I got two emails sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and NO emails at [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Please send us your maillogs.
If you want situation like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ---> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
---> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
---> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
then create three accounts (one, two,three) and then do back to 'browse domains' then click aliases on test.com domain. Click 'add new alias', put in 'dev', click 'submit' and then add you three accounts (one, two, three). It works for me.
