I don't think spam is a problem. Half a year ago I installed a comunityu-wiki (www.el-directorio.org) that got very busy, no problem at all with spam. If you need help to set up a Wiki I can do this for you. Its straight forward, definitely easier than getting Cyrus-IMAP ... to work.
