Well, I'm not sure I can help you, but I've been through some of these
errors.
username: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To use Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDN) you need to patch web-cyradm. I
haven't done it, I haven't tried it, but there's an tutorial from Amin
Astaneh at http://www.qwik.net/howto that can help you with that, if that's
really what you want. To keep things simple, I suggest you get it to work
with username: user.domain.com for now. Then, after that, you can get bold
and try the FQDN patch. I haven't tried myself, but it appears to be quite a
challenge.
[127.0.0.1] DIGEST-MD5 [SASL(-13): user not found: no secret in database]
Your saslauthd is trying to authenticate [EMAIL PROTECTED] though an password
database, since you're using DIGEST-MD5 mechanism. As far as I can see, only
user.domain.com is present at this database, and not [EMAIL PROTECTED], as you
don't have the FQDN patch.
I usually use plain or login mechanism with pam_mysql, so I really can't
help you with DIGEST-MD5. But it seens to be working fine, since you can
login with user.domain.com. Your problem surelly ain't in DIGEST-MD5, is
just that user [EMAIL PROTECTED] simply doesn't exist.
ERROR : Could not complete request.
Query: SELECT "INBOX"
Reason Given: Invalid mailbox name
I've seen it before. You squirrelmail configuration seens allright,
specially at the "$optional_delimiter = '/'". Try adding "INBOX/" to the
$default_folder_prefix and see if it works. It sure did for me.
Hope I could help.
