I am not a postfix expert, but try to find out how postfix delivers the mail
to cyrus. (There are different options!) In Exim we use lmtp and we have
created all mailbox names in lowercase and configured Exim to convert all
local parts of email addresses (the part left of the at-sign '@') to
lowercase as well. This works for us.
