Hi all,
following the dicussion titled "LDAP ... any preferences?" (you can browse
the archive, the latter part of the thread is at
http://www.mail-archive.com/ already) I found some time and took this a bit
further.
The attached archive contains some replacement files for a CVS version as of
May 13th, 2005. I haven't checked yet how it would work or not with the
latest CVS.
Have a look at README-horde-like-drivers in the archive or ask if you have
any questions.
In case anyone has time he or she might be interested in writing a
Aaa_Driver_sql class and move the current staff there. This would make the
code a lot cleaner. At the end of the day, in an LDAP based installation,
you should not need any SQL database anymore. This will also eliminate
duplicate storage of data which frequently happens today.
I am really looking forward to *any* comments ...
Hi Torsten,
I had a quick look at it, and it seems to be a nice idea. As I can see
turba has allready a sql driver which can be a base for further work.
What means this "Aaa" in the driver?
I suggest to work on this parallely and do a merge after 0.5.5 is relased.
Unfortunately I cannot find the time to work much for the 0.5.5 release.
People can help a lot in testing and reporting issues with the current
CVS version which can be downloaded at
