/etc/pam.d/imap says crypt=1 and web-cyradm says $CRYPT = "plain"; I don't
know if they match. For easy sake I have disabled crypts, but I will use
Mysql's cryptation. In mysql the passwords are uncrypted.

(thanks)

Another thing to check is that you have crypt set the same everywhere.
There is a setting for this in the web-cyradm config as well as in
/etc/pam.d/imap and they have to match.

You can also look in the sql tables using either webmin or myphpadmin to see
what is actually there so you can check on plain text vs crypt passwords

Can you post these files to the list:

/etc/init.d/saslauthd
/etc/sysconfig/saslauthd
/etc/pam.d/imap
/etc/cyrus.conf
/etc/imapd.conf

or email them to me. I'll check them out.
