Hi Marcel,

thanks for your suggests. As I wrote in a new message, after changing
all md5 settings to plain webcyradm works great.

The problem is that i have to use a crypting algorithm to secure the
mail server accesses so i enclosed some configuration files with
original md5 settings for a check by you (conf.php, pam_pgsql.conf,
imap.conf, pam.d/imap) plus a log file (auth.log) to show you the cyrus
authentication error.

I am a newbye about webcyradm and cyrus-sasl, but i think that i
followed straight the howtos of webcyradm site. I have the following
doubt only:

I used php 4 function md5() to crypt cyrus password on postgresql db,
actually cyrus-sasl md5 came from cyrus-sasl-crammd5 and
cyrus-sasl-digestmd5, so i don't know if the two md5 crypting mechanisms
arose in the same results.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Regards.
