If you are using crypt, make sure you have crypt=1 in imap, pop, sieve, smtp files in /etc/pam.d and $CRYPT="crypt"; in conf.php. Now do UPDATE accountuser SET password=ENCRYPT('password') WHERE username="cyrus"; in MySQL. But it seems like it does not create the mailboxes in cyrus. I don't know how web-cyradm works. After created the mailbox I can log in as the user, using my email client, but no emails are received. And no email boxes exists in cyrus. I have checked using cyradm. So what can cause that problem? Any one who is familiar > with the system please help? Have you thought about enabling mysql logs and seeing what webycyradm is doing? It seems to me that webcyradm will first try to create a user account in mysql, then create the proper directory for cyrus. Maybe it can't do this if webcyradm and mysql are not talking? You can see the archives for a detailed description of how to turn on debug in mysql. If it's not mysql, I can almost guarentee it is a permissions problem. Double-check all your permissions.
