I just made a test.

Just copied the shadow password into the password column of accountuser table.

And it worked.

Why didn't I try that first?

Excuse me for all the fuss.

I think I was a little confused because the passwords in shadow looked 
different to the passwords in the password column.

But as the manual/howto of web-cyradm says: crypt=1/crypt is compatible with 
shadow passwords. And this is right. Shame on me.
