Back in the day when I ran SquirrelMail my NID would pick up tens of thousands of php sloit's targeting that box. Daily. Got to be too much of a drag and time consuming to continue worrying about it so I nuked it. I've subsequently set up a couple Ilohamail configs that just scream and I think fairly secure using Lighttpd, php, fast-cgi and proxying via apache. The lighttpd instance runs as an unprivileged user on a high port. -- Best regards, Ken Gunderson Q: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation.
