I am not sure, but for sure if there is already an automated tool for this,
you could add the mailboxes in the
cyrus system and after that in the mysql database for cyradmin or reverse.
This can be done with some scripts.
I can't send you a specific example, I didn't study the problem but I would
do so.

thanks, the scripts cyr_adduser.pl and cyr_batchadd.sh are very good
hints. I have to write something now to autom. insert the created users
in the MySQL DB.
