I thought the whole point of creating virtual (email only) users was to completely separate system accounts from email user accounts
as I said it sort-of works - I managed to configure my email client can receive email now -
1) but I want to migrate to encrypted passwords (shadow compatibles ones)
2) and I wish to be able to map "jdoe" like useraccounts to jon.doe like aliases

Try to connect to IMAP Port with a telnetsession from remote,
not local (like imtest). Search in /var/spool/imap/xxx if the
user "jdoe" exists, and post logs ..
