Hi,

Do what Ken suggested (add the path to php.ini), and try 0.5.4 version (why
would you use 0.5.3 - very old version?)

Subject: [Web-cyradm] Ubuntu, continued: "Database Error"

Looking further I notice in my phpinfo() page that the Mysql socket is located

here: /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

Do I need to relocate this or make a symbolic link someplace else for this
initial database connect to work? (The problme I am experiencing occurs as
soon as I try to log into the Web-Cyradm 0.5.3 system with the admin user and
pw; the next page comes up showing only "Database error".) I am sure I will
have *real* (that is, cyrus) problems once I get this fixed..
