Thanks for the Tipp, i don't know a Tool named > smartsieve before and have found what i'm looking for since i use > web-cyradm. I don't know about you all but I definitely have better things to do with my time than deal w/each and every users vacation messages and forwarding. SmartSieve puts this task where it belongs - in the hands of the mailbox end user. It also lets them configure sieve scripts for sorting their mail into folders, etc. so filtering scheme is server side and consistent when mailbox is accessed from different workstations. I've found SmartSieve to be a bit complex for low tech end users so in such instances I simply turn a few of the more advanced features off. The downside of it all is that you end up with 3 pieces: 1) WebCyradm 2) SmartSieve 3) Ilohamail So office manager/admin types who're not geeks tend to get a bit overwhelmed by it all at first. Especially since #'s 1 & 2 are tools they use rarely. But in the end it all seems to work pretty well ;-) -- Best regards, Ken Gunderson Q: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. A: Why is putting a reply at the top of the message frowned upon? _______________________________________________ This mailing list is hosted and supported by bit-heads GmbH | http://www.bit-heads.ch _______________________________________________ Web-cyradm mailing list [email protected] http://www.web-cyradm.org/mailman/listinfo/web-cyradm
