Hi,

I'm using 0.5.4 version, and if you are using CVS version your steps should be
different I think, ask other people on the list.

In imapd.conf add:
unixhierarchysep: yes

In conf.php:
$DOMAIN_AS_PREFIX = 1;

I'm using short names instead of long usernames like Michael Muenz suggested.
Edited newaccount.php like this:
if ($DOMAIN_AS_PREFIX){
                                $prefix         = $domain;
                                $username       = $email;
                                if ($freenames!="YES") {
                                    // $username = $username . "." .$domain;
                                      $username = $username;

Hope it helps,

Leon Kolchinsky

Subject: [Web-cyradm] inquiry about web-cyradm

hi list,
i installed web-cyradm successfully on my debian
machine.

everything is running fine, except a few quirks i
can't find any clue about them in the mailing list.

.the "logout cant login anymore" problem in the
webconsole

.the stability of cvs source, for production use.

.how exactly do i create, from the webconsole,
usernames that are "simple", i.e. mlistus, instead of
mlistus.yahoo.com or yahoo0001 ...

thanks in advance,
mlistus
