I think the problem is an other (maybe). I had the same problem...in the past. I think you cant create subfolder only under INBOX because this is the cyrus default. If you want create out of INDEX you must add to the /etc/imap.conf this line:
altnamespace: 1 This can dangerous, read "man imapd.conf". I hope...this will help you. Bye P.S. If you want, you can modify Squirrelmail to use this cyrus configuration.
