Oops! Something changed, and when the server was rebooted, the change was invoked... and I have nooo idea what changed. Emailing from a webmail interface (Squirrelmail say) auths... POP3, IMAP and SMTP. But now an Outlook 2k3 client (Postfix subnet enabled) cannot relay via SMTP server (auth failure). tail -f /var/log/maillog shows "LOGIN authentication failed" Me thinks it might be a database lookup issue.
