Hi,
i found the problem. The connection from PHP4 to mysql was the prob. The php4-mysql is not supporting mysql 4.1 and higher. I removed my mysql 5 and installed a version smaller than mysql4.1 and now its working. Thx to anyone who helped me.

Kind regards David

Hmmm... I use 32bit FC4/5/6, so I'll help as much as I can. I normally
SU to root from a user, and have to run fully-pathed executables... so
the pathing below may be a little different to your SLES9 pathing :-)

Firstly, is your Postfix RPM compiled to support MySQL lookups? You
can tell by running:

/usr/sbin/postmap -q "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-virtual.cf

which should render:

v1rtual_addy.d0main.tld

Also, do you have the pam_mysql installed?

/bin/rpm -q pam_mysql
