Found it.. It's a bug in the pam-mysql config script so it doesn't
recognize the openssl md5.h file.
I've fixed it in my rpm builds for openSUSE if anyone is interested.. :)

I'm trying to access your FTP repo to download your pam_mysql rpm, but
I keep getting timeouts. I'd be keen to solve this auth'ing issue on
my openSuSE 10.2, and wonder if this isn't the same problem you
experienced.
Could you please email me your spec file, and I'll build the RPM on
this side :-)
