I wrote the original patch for the username=emailaddress (FQUN) support
in 2004 that xerxes uses. I haven't looked in svn to see what they are
using but I have been using FQUN for the last 3 years with web-cyradm so
I believe what I'm saying here should be correct.

With the two changes I proposed:
1. $CRYPT = "plain"; #in conf.php <--Change approved
2. virtdomains: userid #in imapd.conf <--Not approved by experts
FQUN works perfectly in Web-Cyradm for me.
I should point out that this set up does change folder sharing. In the
old setup, one could share folders from one domain to another. In this
new setup, you can only share folders within a domain. Also, in this
new setup, you can give admin rights per domain (I'm not sure what you
would do with those rights given Web-Cyradm, but you can do it).
