Massimo, I didn't check the new appadmin, however I do have a question about updating web2py.
Thus far, I just moved the previous version of web2py to trash, unzipped the new web2py in the site-packages folder, and used time machine to retrieve my applications and put them in the applications folder. Doing so, made me realize that changes to the welcome application are not forwarded to applications based on previous versions of web2py. In your post you mention appadmin, but the same applies to the static files. My question is: how do I update applications based on previous web2py versions to the latest web2py, so that all my applications have the same core.
