please check it out and let me know if there are issues new appadmin (most of it works on GAE) db.Field(...,'upload') on GAE now go in datastore and no questions asked Martin's patch (with Denes improvements) is in: db(db.table.id>0).update(field=db.table.field[2:4]) and a couple of minor bug fixes.
