for Firebird, you need to have the Python DB driver - kinterbasedb -
installedhttp://kinterbasdb.sourceforge.net/
In your code, you create a database connection for firebird w/ this format:
db = SQLDB('firebird://user:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:3050/db_to_connect_to')
