You'll get something that looks more like what your were expecting if
you modify your example thus:

def __init__(self, f):

x = self.f()
print "Exited", self.f.__name__
return x
def index():
response.flash=T('Welcome to web2py')
return dict(message=T('Hello World 1'))
@entryExit
def index2():
response.flash=T('Welcome to web2py')
return dict(message=T('Hello World 2'))
