I'm sorry for not being specific--I didn't realize that there was such a big difference between SQLDB and GQLDB. But it's ok, I have a solution in place for profiling the database. I just think that it would be very useful, in general, for there to be profiling tools built-in to web2py, since anyone building a non- trivial application with web2py will need to profile their database performance, since that's the major application bottleneck.
