This seems a lot. Are you running the binary distribution? Do you need
the binary distribution?
If you have python installed you only need:

web2py/*.py
web2py/gluon/*.py (and folders therein)
web2py/deposit/   (empty)
web2py/applications/   (and your own apps in here)

should be about 1MB
