what I mean is that I had to apply the patch attached to the bug 25 (see http://code.google.com/p/web2py/issues/detail?id=25&can=1&sort=-id) for myself as the current version (the same one that I'm using) breaks without that patch... (patch to gluon/contrib/gql.py) and as the bug is tagged as closed it is little bit confusing If it is closed for the trunk only or if it is closed also to the stable version. In that case we would need a new release including that patch (it is just one line of code and one extra test).
probably there is a typo in the bug: It says: What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? trunk but I reproduced it on the stable version...
