Hi Everyone, I set up my own web2py-driven site yesterday. I never did web designing before (although I am a programmer). I like it, i find it logical and neat.
Hence, I browse API, FAQ's, etc. a lot and this is what I experience lately: Every time I click on a link under http://mdp.cti.depaul.edu I see the head of the page loading and then it freezes on "Connecting s9.addthis.com...". The site is basically waiting for Bookmark&Share button to load. For some reason it takes around 30s (i'm behind a company firewall, so it might be it). However, isn't it a "bug" that I cannot read anything, loading of a whole site freezes, until one small button downloads? I had same symptoms after running freshly installed appliances on my own web2py site (since, I removed the button from layout.html, it's ok now). I'm using Ubuntu Linux, Mozilla Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 with TraceMonkey JavaScript engine on. What's more, I experienced my browser crash 2 times since yesterday when visiting web2py page (though, I had maaaany tabs opened including gmail and several js-full sites). I wonder if it has something to do with MF3.1b2 bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453157 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py Web Framework" group.
