This looks like a good proof-of-concept;  there are some nice examples of
how to layout menus;  other things (right column) are not flushed out;  we
(the community) would need to chime in on conventions for css names, etc.
and talk about how we would want to use.

For example - if a fixed layout enough?   Will people then do "hand
tweaking" ?   Or is this the basis for using YUI-grids or ...  that other
grid framework?

That said - this is a great start in something needed.... Let's keep at it,
and not stop either work on it, nor discussing it...
